If you are an employee or a student, please login with your uoAccess credentials. Your uoAccess ID is the short name before your @uOttawa.ca e-mail address (ex: jsmit000).
We suggest that you first go through the postings and note the posting number(s) that you wish to apply for. We also strongly suggest that you open two browser pages at the same time so that you may refer back to the postings while you are actually filling in your application.
Section 1 Personal Information
When you login in with your employee number, your primary address is automatically inserted according to information in your Human Resources file, or if you are not yet an employee but login with your student number, the address is inserted from your student file. If you wish, you can submit a secondary address, for example a temporary address you may have for the summer. Please note that this section does not allow you to correct any personal information. Please contact HR or your department for any changes and/or modifications.
Section 2 – Current program of study
When you login in with your employee or student number, this section is automatically completed for you, and you cannot modify this information. If you do not agree with this information, you can indicate as such and submit what you feel should be your accurate information regarding your present program of study.
You pressed the ‘Back to Search’ button which returned you to the page of available postings. At this point all information you may have entered will be lost.
Once you have submitted your application, a Thank you page will appear confirming your application number and you will have the ability to upload your curriculum vitae.
You cannot retrieve your previous application. The next time you apply to a position with your InfoWeb information, most of the data that you entered in your last application will appear in this new application. You may then change or add information as you wish.

Once the closing date for a posting is reached, the job is removed from the list.
You can submit one application and insert as many postings that you wish, according to what is posted for that faculty and/or department.
Once you submit your application, you cannot modify it.
After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email. If you also submitted your curriculum vitae, another email will be sent to your employee email to confirm that your curriculum vitae was submitted. All email communication from the University will be sent to an employee email account (@uottawa.ca), except for new hires if applicable.
